Fire deaths decrease

Statistics released by the ODPM reveal that there has been a drop in the number of fire-related deaths in the year to March 2003 – from 602 in 2002 to 574 in 2003. The trend continues a favourable year-on-year trend: 623 in 1999, 613 in 2000 and 606 in 2001.The ...
