Honeywell brand Gent has introduced Vigilon Voice, a fully distributed voice alarm and public address system.

The product replaces the Orator system. It includes high efficiency Adaptive Class-D amplification and digital signal processing, so it can be used as a pa as well as va system. It is offered in two variants, with 200 or 400 W distributed amplifier units. It can also be used as a stand-alone system.

Strobe alert

E2S has launched an intrinsically safe (IS) sounder and strobe range.

The IS-minialarm is a 100 dB(A) sounder; the IS-minialite beacon uses an array of six high intensity leds; and the IS-minialert is a combined unit with the beacon mounted in the centre of the sounder horn.

Klaxon Signals has launched the Sonos Series 65 base sounder for installation with the Apollo Series 65 detectors.

It enables detection and alarm at the same point, removing the need for separate sounders in the circuit and reducing wiring and installation costs. It has two large cable entry points for simper installation.

Easi does it

Aico’s Ei160 range of smoke alarms now has an updated Easi-fit base. This includes a removable door that allows trunking to be inserted into the alarm base.

Wagner UK has added the Titanus Microsens addressable air sampling system to the Titanus range of aspirating smoke detection systems.

Its advanced sampling technology can identify where the smoke has entered to provide individual room monitoring. It is suited to small or medium-sized areas.

In the loop

The M210E-CZ conventional zone interface module from System Sensor Europe can allow a zone of up to 32 conventional two-wire detectors to be managed by the control panel via a single module address on a loop.

It can be mounted in a stand-alone enclosure or on a 35 mm DIN rail.
