Leading contractor First Security (Guards) recently provided manned SECURITY SERVICES to British Petroleum (BP) plc for its Annual General Meeting, held this year at London's celebrated Royal Festival Hall. Working in close co-operation with Steve Partridge, BP's head of security, First's sales manager Neil Ames devised a manned security policy based on controlling public access to the building on the day. This involved the deployment of 180 officers to make sure that the meeting didn't suffer any undue interruptions. This is the third year running that First has been involved with this prestigious event.
