Crown House Engineering is providing m&e and public health services for a two floor extension at Gatwick Airport's North International Departure area. The £5 million contract includes a scene-setting lighting system that is intended to light the area according to the season and time of day. This is based on a 40-metre long tube, with seven projectors reflecting the colour combinations onto the surrounding surfaces. The company is also installing the services for 20 new check-in desks and a baggage hall in the South Terminal as part of a £2 million contract. A further £5 million contract involves the provision of building services in a new South Terminals Arrivals building.
