Ash & Lacy Building Systems has provided 4,000m2 of Ashzip for a retirement home in Ireland
The 35-bedroom home was built for retired nuns from the order of the Sisters of Mercy in Castlebar, Co Mayo. The design, as specified by Taylor Architects, was for a circular roof, which added complexity to the development as every sheet required tapering to produce the “doughnut” shape. The Ashzip sheets were supplied to site in a standard 0.9mm embossed aluminium finish, ready for installation.
