The interior contractor gets some sneaky practice in before the sailing event of the year
Another rehearsal for next month's industry sailing fest that is Little Britain was held last week, hosted by a very sociable bunch from BW Interiors.
The fit-out firm invited a gaggle of industry bods down to the Port Solent for an evening's entertainment followed by a day on the high seas. The firm also secured superb mid-summer weather for the day out.
Competition was tight but in the end one boat stood out, winning both the morning and afternoon races. The boat included crewspeople Kevin Arnold from Gardiner & Theobald, Andrew Boyle from Bucknall Austin, Building's deputy editor Phil Clark and BW Interior's very own Abigail Williams.
However the two victories were more likely down to the canny stewardship of professional sailor and skipper 'Jim' that to any talent on display from the aforementioned quartet.
