Fire Detection Products is offering a hybrid fire alarm system, designed for sites in which it is difficult to install cables.
In addition to the wired equipment, it enables a wireless system of remote devices to be linked together so they operate like any other sensors, call points, sounders or modules. The manufacturer says the range is easy and cost-effective to install, can be used with lithium batteries and complies with all applicable standards, including the yet to be published EN 54-25 for radio-based fire systems.
