Kingspan Insulated Panels has introduced the Kingspan Upstand Rooflight system, developed to increase the daylight provided by the company’s range of insulated panels, including the Kingspan Roof Tile system, Kingzip standing seam, Lo-Pitch and KS1000 FC Box Profile panel.
The Kingspan Upstand Rooflight is factory fitted into the insulated panels, so the complete system is delivered on site ready to install. Manufactured from polycarbonate and classed as non-fragile by the HSE, the system is quick to install and lets maximum daylight through, claims the company. It comes with a UV-protected outer layer on both sides for increased durability and a clear interior finish. Available in lengths from 1.8m to 6m, the panels have a thermal performance of 1.84 W/m2K.
