Concord Lighting has provided the lighting for the Treetops special needs school in Essex.
Ovation 65 is the main element and 300 units of this have been used. In the classrooms, individual runs of 2x35W silver, dimmable luminaires, with integral emergency capability, are suspended just below ceiling height. This offers bright, uniform illumination on the desks and distributes light on to the ceiling above.
White 38W wall lights are specified for the washroom areas, while 28W bulkhead exterior wall-lights, with semi-circular hoods, are used in the open-air playground.
