Eddie Jordan has been lending his celebrity to the construction industry this week. He was on hand to kiss babies and hand out prizes on a site in West London.
Enticed by the prospect of winning a Mini Cooper, the workforce at the Phillimore QEC project in Kensington have been on their best behaviour all year, earning points for positive attitude towards workmanship, team working and site safety to gain entry to a prize draw.
Almost £25,000 was raised for children’s cancer charity CLIC, and as for the competition winner Whare Bedford of Modular... he was last seen speeding down Kensington High Street in search of a Mini Adventure.
