Footie force: Five-a-side football was one of the activities at a spring fair on the Heygate estate in Elephant & Castle, south London on 8 May.

Southwark council used the fair to kick off two weeks of exhibitions about the regeneration plans for the Elephant & Castle.

Heygate is to be demolished and replaced with a mixed-use development.

Under the £1.5bn Elephant & Castle regeneration, 1200 council homes will be demolished and replaced with a 5300 mixed-tenure development over the next 10-12 years.
