Remguard Visual Management, the event-driven CCTV monitoring specialist, is offering all existing and prospective customers – who sign up to a new monitoring contract – free use of its latest transmission equipment, including the PAS 38:2000-compliant RemVu Aquila system.

This can be seen as a dramatic step forward on behalf of end users. Traditionally, businesses tagging themselves to the remote monitoring route have had to pay up front for essential on-site transmission hardware. Not only that, the cost of the equipment can run into thousands of pounds.

Adam Wiseberg, RemGuard's managing director, told SMT: "We estimate that a typical customer who signs up for monitoring under the new agreement may save as much as £4,000." Thanks to the initiative, RemGuard expects to see a major increase in the take-up of remote monitoring technology among SMEs.
