Gardiner & Theobald is acting as construction manager on the National Maritime Museum’s £15m development of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.
The Time and Space project includes the creation of a state-of-the-art planetarium. The scheme will open up the one-third of the site previously closed to visitors and revitalise the complex with new galleries and teaching areas. Work is due to finish in spring 2007. The architect is Allies and Morrison.
