Gardiner Security has launched a new resource for its customers which details new product releases, company promotions and newsworthy items including legislation announcements and divisional training schemes, on their own PCs.
The Gardiner Security Desktop is launched from a self-uploading CD, which will be supplied to the company’s new and existing customers. The application automatically downloads new information each time it is opened and highlights this data as new and unread to the customer.
The software works in conjunction with Gardiner’s e-commerce channel to give installers access to the most up-to-date industry information and the ability to place orders whenever required.
“Our self-updater software has been developed to provide the most comprehensive information service in real-time,” e-commerce manager Kim Whitehead said.
It gives installers access to information on all six business divisions as well as the Gardiner Group; each product guide by division with industry glossary and installer FAQs; support services including training, technical support, pre-built systems, after-sales and security legislation.
