Now is your chance to enter the second QS News Awards, which this year is being supported by the RICS.

Last year’s inaugural ceremony attracted a crowd of 400 and saw 11 firms and individuals win in various categories. This year will build on that success, introducing one new category and expanding an existing one. The first will be to highlight project management companies. This category, for stand-alone firms or divisions of multi-disciplinary firms, will champion best practice, problem solving and creativity. And to reflect the work of in-house QS teams the in-house category will be split into two – a contractor’s QS team and a client QS team.

Other categories include best new QS firm, the QS young achiever of the year and the QS champion of the year. The ceremony, on Friday 8 December, will take place at the restaurant and wine museum Vinopolis.

The closing date for entries will be on 8 September.
