John Agnew from Toughglass Ltd was recently appointed Chairman of the Glazing Executive within the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). With this appointment he also becomes a main Board member of the GGF.

The GGF is the trade body that represents the Glass, Glazing and Window industry in the UK and has its main offices in London. Issues for discussion at these Glazing Executive meetings will be projects and associated funding requests which will be submitted to the GGF Main Board for approval to carry out specific pieces of work relative to each group, that would help promote the use of these products within the industry.

John Agnew is also the Deputy Chairman of the Tougheners Group.

This appointment is the first as such for a representative from the Northern Ireland Glass & Glazing Industry to a UK wide body.
