The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has appointed Nigel Richmond, Chief Operating Officer of Bowater Windows, as its new President.

Nigel has been involved in GGF affairs for many years, most recently spending 9 years as Chairman of the Finance and Membership Committee. He succeeds Trevor Coles of AGS Home Improvements to the position of President.

He said: ‘This is a challenging time for the industry. Changes in Regulations continue to dominate the horizon and it is important that the Federation is actively involved in the process and represents members’ interests to Government.’

The GGF is a strong trade association; with a wide reaching agenda and many activities which all help promote and protect the interests of the industry. I am looking forward to leading the Federation and look to the membership and to the GGF staff for their support in tackling this challenging agenda.’
