The 18 girls at Gardiner Security who stripped off in aid of young leukaemia sufferers have been working hard to maximise sales of their ‘Calendar Girls 2005’ calendar.

The calendar has already proven popular with suppliers and installers around the country.

Led by Rochdale head office receptionist Yvonne Seddon, the calendar’s originator, who is featured in May, all the models have been working hard to promote it through Gardiner branches, personal appearances, and at the manufacturers whose security products Gardiner sells.

All proceeds go to the Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Fund of the Manchester Children’s Hospitals Charity. Young Clare Drogan, the school friend of Yvonne’s daughter Helen, died of the disease, and the calendar is dedicated to her memory.

The calendar costs £4.99 and is available from Gardiner Security branches (phone 01706 343343) or via email (calendargirls@gardinersecurity.co.uk).
