GKD, manufacturer of woven metal fabric, has opened a new facility on the east coast of Maryland in the US. The building, designed by French architect Dominique Perailt, incorporates a number of the company’s own products in its design. Moveable sunscreen panels made of stainless steel mesh can be used to conceal window openings while metal mesh also forms some of the building’s suspended ceilings.
