ADT Fire and Security's Glasgow branch has won the Investors in People standard.
The branch, employing more than 270 staff, provides commercial and residential security in central and southern Scotland and has been working towards the standard since June 1999.
The award is a structured approach to improving company performance through setting employee objectives and developing staff.
Ewan Hardy, General Manager at the branch said the branch was commended for its communications systems and specific reference was made to encouraging employee involvement and feedback.The IIP also commented on the branch's business planning with particular reference to "cascading objectives".
