Lustre, new exhibition at the Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery in Carlisle, aims to present some of the best work being produced across all areas of glassmaking – from sculpture and architectural design to studio glass.

Excellence and innovation have informed the selection of work from almost 40 glass artists living and working throughout the UK, including internationally-respected makers such as Suresh Dutt, Peter Layton, Naoko Sato and 2003 Jerwood Prize (Glass) nominee, Angela Jarman. Work by the Cumbrian artist Charles Bray, an influential glass artist and author on the subject, also features.

Much of the work is available for sale. The exhibition also provides information about each of the artists represented and the processes deployed.

A special preview of Lustre will take place from 6.30pm – 8.00pm on Friday 12 November in Tullie House Art Gallery. 10% off any purchases made on the night (payment in full). The exhibition runs until the 9th of January.
