Sheppard Robson has got planning permission for a 7,800m2 Tropical and Infectious Diseases centre for the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

The Northwest Regional Development Agency and the Merseyside Objective One Programme have each invested £9m in the four-storey facility. Work is set to start in April and the targeted completion month is September 2007. The project team includes project manager Gleeds, main contractor Shepherd Construction, Arup as structural and M&E consultant engineer, and Haden Young as design & build M&E subcontractor.
