Gleeds moves up QS rankings

Gleeds has leaped ahead in this month’s ranking of QSs by workload. The firm has jumped by one position into third place, knocking rival Gardiner & Theobald down from third into fourth.

Gleeds has £636m of work on its books for the year to date, from 59 projects. This is a significant improvement on last month’s 52 projects totalling £553m. G&T by contrast is down by one project to 63 jobs worth £585m.

But both firms lag Davis Langdon, which continues to have a stranglehold on the number one slot. This month the firm reported 111 schemes on its books for the year to date, adding up to a total of £1.3bn.

Davis Langdon’s workload includes the Silken Hotel in London, worth £70m and the Immigration and Nationality Directorate in Sheffield, worth around £30m.
