Hyder ACLA, the landscape and planning subsidiary of Hyder Consulting, has won a commission for a holiday resort and conference development in China with a brief to protect the local ecosystems

Hong Luo Lake Resort (pictured) will be built over 54ha in the foothills of Hong Luo Mountain, 50km from Beijing. Its 3000 residents will occupy low-rise buildings set along the contours of the mountain.
