A new book aims to provide easy-to-follow guidance on contract management issues on the international stage.

International Construction Contract Management, written by D. Bryan Morgan, is an alphabetised reference guide on everything from Assignment and Novation to Without Prejudice.

While many books touch on various aspects of contract management on the international scene, Morgan feels this one fills the gap for a practical, down-to-earth, reference book likely to be useful in any of the situations professionals on the ground are likely to find themselves in.

That’s important, Morgan writes in the introduction, when “the project you find yourself working on is not the four walls, floor and roof of a warehouse but a highly complex industrial plant located in the middle of nowhere where no-one has ever heard of JCT, ACE, FIDIC or even Hudson’s Formula, and you are unable to find advice relating to anything near the type of situation you find yourself in.”

The book is published by Gower, ISBN 1 85946 169 7.
