Independent establishment Oundle School, based in Northamptonshire, has created an energy-efficient, low-carbon environment with the help of a new building management system (BMS).

Andromeda Telematics installed Tridium’s Niagara Framework as the school wanted a system that could be maintained by its own team of technicians.

Niagara Framework has enabled the integration of all building control functions onto one common platform. The control system integrates heating and ventilation systems, lighting, passive window ventilators and photovoltaics.

Andromeda engineer Jens Czudai says: “The Tridium solution has provided Oundle with a fully open, web-based system architecture that is easy to access and control.

“We can monitor energy performance remotely and make simple adjustments to ensure the system is working as efficiently as possible.”
