Grim it ain't: The strategic framework for the third millennium community was this week launched by housing minister Lord Rooker. The New Islington project in east Manchester has been masterplanned by Alsop Architects. Urban Splash is the lead developer on the project, which will include 1400 homes and offices. Manchester Methodist Housing Group is preferred housing association partner.
