The PN range of robust, low maintenance window fittings is being specified across an increasingly wide range of applications.

The partnership between the system’s Danish developer, Peder Nielsen, and independent hardware distributor, Groupco, is at the heart of PN’s UK success.

Groupco is the largest UK distributor of the PN range and sales currently account for 8.8% of its total turnover.

Peder Nielsen’s UK Commercial and Technical Manager, Norman Berrill, believes Groupco’s commitment to supporting the PN System has clearly helped boost sales: ‘They set up a dedicated PN department from day one to offer advice to customers, from architects and fabricators to end users.’

Groupco’s in depth stockholding of the different PN options also enables a 24-hour turnaround on most orders.

Design flexibility means that PN systems can be used with a wide variety of window styles in PVC-U, timber, aluminium or timber/aluminium composite. The standard weights and sizes achievable are, in most cases, greater than with conventional hardware options. For example, for the Top Swing it is 60kg, while for the Side Swing it is up to 50kg – making it ideal for the increasingly popular larger window configurations and designs.
