The BBC came out on top at this week’s annual British Council for Offices Awards.

The corporation’s move from Pebble Mill to the Mailbox building in Birmingham won the Best of the Best award at the ceremony on Tuesday night. The scheme managed to pack 100 more staff into a space less than half the size of the BBC’s previous premises. The project team included QS Frost Associates, project managers Dearle & Henderson and Mace, contractor ISG InteriorExterior and architect Building Design Partnership.
