One of Britain’s most loved buildings, Battersea Power Station, had lain dormant for 15 years until a planning application by Parkview International was approved late last year.

But then, just days later, Parkview announced it had sold the iconic landmark to Real Estate Opportunities for £400m. Planning permission is retained, but local campaigners suggest REO will go back to the drawing board to develop its own scheme.
