The Joint Security Industry Council (JSIC) has opened a new Head Office in Maidenhead.
Formed in 1996 and headed up by chief executive Mike Welply, JSIC is the umbrella organisation for the security industry, and has been instrumental – along with the British Security Industry Association – in helping the Security Industry Authority to formulate some of its future plans for private sector licensing and regulation.
Guest of Honour at the official 16 May opening was Theresa May, chairman of the Conservative Party and MP for Maidenhead.
