SKILLcard
The Engineering Services SKILLcard is the industry-wide scheme for demonstrating workplace health and safety awareness for personnel in the mechanical services contracting sector. During the current introductory phase, health and safety requirements can be met in a number of ways including possessing an NVQ with a health and safety module or attending an HVCA recognised course.

Once personnel have demonstrated compliance, they may apply for a card which identifies them, and their health and safety skills. SKILLcard is affiliated with the pan-industry Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – reinforcing its currency and acceptability throughout the wider construction industry.

This initiative is of strategic importance across the whole construction sector
