Heatrae Sadia has added two larger capacity models to its Multipoint range of unvented electric water heaters.

The 75 and 100 litre units have been launched to meet the increased demand in the commercial market for such systems. The models have ratings of 3 and 6 kW respectively. The existing units in the range have capacities of 10, 15, 30 and 50 litres.

In agreement

Applied Energy Products has signed an exclusive UK and Eire distributor agreement with water and space heating manufacturer Stiebel Eltron.

The agreement ensures a wider range of solutions to meet the future needs of Part L of the Building Regulations.

Discrete heat

The Chameleon warm air curtain from Diffusion is available in electric and lphw versions.

It can be produced in various shapes and finishes including circular, elliptical, triangular and rectangular. Air volumes range from 0·34 to 0·52 m3/s and outputs of 9 and 12 kW are offered. Remote three-speed control boxes are also available.

On the floor

Flexel’s Ecofloor electric underfloor heating cable mats and cable kits are a simple way to provide underfloor heating.

Ecofloor can be laid on solid and wooden floors and are suited to large, rectangular rooms. They comprise a heating cable affixed to a backing mat at a preconfigured spacing and width. It is simply rolled onto an insulated layer and the final connections made by a qualified electrician.

Ecofloor Cable Kits provide an option for small and non-square rooms. Both products are maintenance-free.

Pump solution

In response to market demand for sustainable, low carbon heating solutions, Dimplex has launched a range of heat pumps.

The range includes ground source and air-to-water heat pumps suitable for single-phase installation. Also included are an 8 kW compact version for internal installation that is supplied as an all-in-one package for ease of specification and installation.

The Pexatherm New Thin UFH System is suited to retrofit applications where standard underfloor space is unavailable, such as building with solid ground floors.

Socomec Sicon has added the NeTYS series of single-phase units to its UPS range. NeTYS PL is offered in ratings of 550 and 750 VA; NeTYS PRE is based on online interactive technology with AVR to guarantee against overvoltages. It is offered in 400, 600, 800 and 1000 VA versions. The NeTYS PR is available in 1, 1·5, 2 and 3 kVA. All models are available in tower or mini tower versions; the three larger units can be converted to rack mounting.
