Honeywell has appointed Alan Samuels as managing director of its Video systems and Access Systems businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Samuels will be responsible for sales, marketing and service for all Honeywell product brands across the two lines of business.

Samuels was recently sales and marketing manager with BT Major Business, and before that he had worked with IBM in the US and Europe, Middle East and Africa. He said: “This is a challenging new role that will give me the opportunity to shape the direction and growth of the Video and Access Systems businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”
