The CEO and chairman of Honeywell, Dave Cote, has paid a visit to the headquarters of monitoring company Secom in Kenley, Surrey, for a meeting with Secom MD Minoru Takezawa. Accompanied by Mick Goodfellow, Honeywell Intruder's Security and Custom Electronics' UK sales director, and John White, Secom's sales and marketing director, the visit included a tour of Secom's offices and central monitoring station, which has been commended by many police forces for reducing false alarms.
Cote praised Secom on its company philosophy and dedication to being a quality service provider, focusing on customer service. Secom acknowledged the Honeywell range of products for exceeding the levels of quality they demanded, and praised the levels of training and support provided for Secom's engineers.
The visit provided a platform for both parties to share knowledge and understanding of business principles and operations. Takezawa said: "I was delighted to meet Mr Cote and welcome him to Secom. We consider Honeywell Security a partner of choice for many of the products we use."
