Midlands contractor Thomas Vale is pushing this colourful fibreglass structure, dubbed a ‘Spacebox’, to meet government demands for modern methods of construction. Made by Dutch company Holland Composites, the Spacebox is already used in The Netherlands for student accommodation. Thomas Vale exhibited the funky pod at a recent seminar on innovations.
