    Three times as effective
Optex's DCL-300 weatherproof outdoor camera with combined 80W beam lamp and motion sensor allows installers to fit just one unit to record images rather than installing a separate camera, PIR and light.

The camera viewing angle, detection and light illumination area are all perfectly matched so when the unit detects an intruder, the light turns on to illuminate the field of view. The detector incorporates Quad patented technologies such as 'Double Conductive Shielding' minimising false alarms from vehicle headlights and direct sunlight. The DCL-300 is wall, ceiling or pole mountable.

    Moving Swiftly on
The latest generation of Swift wireless mobile camera systems from Petards vision is the Swift Solo. It can be deployed in minutes and is a plug and play unit.

Swift Solo weighs 5.6kg, incorporates X-Wave cameras and can be deployed as a single camera system or a multi-camera system with a maximum of 13 Swift units transmitting at the same time.

The Solo is compatible with existing control systems and recording equipment used by CCTV monitoring stations. It can be configured with an array of different video transmitters and frequencies giving coverage to 4km.

Coverage can be increased further by supplying back-to-back video carriers such as fibre, microwave, ISDN and GSM in conjunction with the transmitters. The camera employs an anti-vandal and anti-theft system that can include external PIR movement detectors, alerting the receiving station operator of any movement within range of the camera. Installers can also remotely check cameras for fault diagnosis.

    MemoCam can
Sure Vision is distributing video Domain's MemoCam, an all-in-one device comprising a compact, stand alone camera, PIR detector and smart VCR. Aimed at sites where quick installation is required, it needs just one mains cable to be set up.

Events are recorded on an internal memory card when activated by the built-in PIR alarm. The device is covert, discreet and powerful and other products in the MemoCam range include the MemoCam Plus with two video inputs for additional cameras, one video output for real time monitoring and storage capacity to 10,000 images, weekly scheduler and video motion detector.

The MemoCam DVR has the same functionality as the MemoCam Plus, but has three outputs, creating a multiple camera CCTV system that reduces the cost per video input.
