Plans for a hotel at the former Brooklands motor racing circuit in Esher, Surrey, have been given the go-ahead by Elmbridge Borough Council. Glasgow-based QS CBA is working on the job alongside lead consultant Terence O’Rourke.

The client is Columbus Hotels, which is a partnership between Formula One racing driver David Coulthard and hotelier Ken McCullouch and a subsidiary of McCullouch Unique Hotels Group. The hotel will be situated next to a Mercedes-Benz development and the Brooklands motor racing museum.
