Housebuilders told to get with the times

A free, online database tries to remove the nasty surprises you might get by trying new ways of building. House builders are under pressure to use Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) but builders resist because if they are not familiar with the technology it’s hard to plan resources and timescales. This new online library helps by providing data related to a range of construction methods. The data was extracted from BRE archives on housing projects. It’s called the Library of Housing Construction Packages and can be downloaded from http://projects.bre.co.uk/library
