GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies has released ChipCap, a relative humidity and temperature sensor for the HVAC, automotive, medical and appliance industries.

The device offers both digital and analogue configurations on a single 5VDC-powered chip. The fully calibrated ChipCap is said to reduce the cost of humidity and temperature sensor integration by 50% or more.
