Research suggests that rising sea surface temperatures could mean more storms of the same intensity of hurricanes Katrina and Rita

The number of hurricanes like Rita and Katrina (Categories 4 and 5) worldwide has nearly doubled over the past 35 years because the sea-surface temperatures are rising, according to American scientists.
