Members of the HVCA have voted to introduce independent inspection and assessment for HVCA membership.
Some 613 members – 45% of those eligible – registered their vote. In the event, 70·2% of members voted in favour of the introduction of inspection and assessment and 72·5% backed the adoption of constitutional changes necessary to introduce the inspections. The new regime will start from 1 April 2003.
