Locking systems

Camlock Systems has introduced the first product in a family of ‘next generation’ locks designated Camactive. The new locks are said to be doubly-resistant to the misuse of keys and to picking, mainly thanks to their dual locking functionality.

Simple to operate, cost-effective and easily retrofitted, the lock uses radial pin tumblers for its mechanical locking, with a range of options including keypads, iButtons, swipe cards or biometric devices being used to operate the electrical locking element.

Depending on end user requirements, Camlock’s Camactive will be available with a wide range of locking mechanisms. Key blanks for Octagon locks are never issued: keys for keyed-alike or reprogrammable locks can be registered to the customer and are then only ever made available by Camlock to authorised signatories.
