Bosch Professional Power Tools has redesigned its cordless combi drills and drill drivers.
Bosch’s Turbo Tough range is faster, provides greater torque, and Bosch claims it is 35% more durable than rivals.
The 48 mm Bosch-built motor is double-wound, providing a good overload capacity through better heat dissipation. The metal five-planet gearbox incorporates a fan-assisted air-cooling system.
The tools incorporate a progressive clutch that allows precise torque settings for each screw diameter, ideal for driving smaller screws.
The redesign includes a slim handle with soft grip pads at both front and rear.
The tool’s Dura-shield flexible housing and three-piece stack construction provide added robustness.
Bosch claims the tools will continue to work normally after being dropped from a
2 m height. A single-sleeve autolock chuck with tungsten carbide teeth to provide durable grip is fitted throughout the range.
