A selection of industry names will be at London’s Earl’s Court this month for 100% Detail, the building materials exhibition for specifiers.

One ticket gives full access to 100% Design, 100% Detail and 100% Light – a combined event for the interiors, design and architectural industries.

Assa Abloy, British Woodworking Federation, Dorma UK Ltd, Geze UK, IQ Glass Heating Systems UK Ltd, and Saint-Gobain Glass Ltd are among the names confirmed for 100% Detail.

SmartGlass is launching two new products this year. LC SmartGlass offers the ability to change your environment from clear to frosted and back again at the flip of a switch. This intelligent glass is described as a cunning design solution great for internal partitions, interview rooms, bathrooms and shower screens. By applying 110 volts the glass turns from its natural ‘off’ state of frosted to clear.

The technology doesn’t stop there – EC SmartGlass has been developed into seven different solar ranges perfect for external windows and rooflights. With just two volts the clear glass changes its molecular structure to provide up to 98% light blockage. Applications for this glare reduction product are wide and varied.

Saint-Gobain Glass is showing its self-cleaning glass product range.

Moving to interiors, the SGG Planilaque Evolution is the new generation in highly durable coloured lacquered glass. With a homogeneous and lustrous finish, this range work particularly well on humid rooms such as bathrooms.

SGG Stadip colour laminated glass is suitable for interiors as well as architectural applications. By laminating two pieces of glass virtually any colour can be created in transparent or translucent options. This material filters 99% of UV radiation and improves the solar control performance of the glazing.

Reglit is launching Lumaglass a development of the Pilkington Profilit system that allows excellent light transmission while maintaining privacy. Translucent cast glass channels are fitted into an extruded metal perimeter frame to offer many possibilities in creating spaces with imaginative use of natural light.

By introducing an electroluminescent light source inside the sandblasted wall, a stunning illuminated architectural wall is created. By using colour filters over the electoluminescent lighting Reglit can achieve a wash of any Pantone colour code.
