Initial Electronic Security has secured a lifeline for vulnerable families by providing a £4,000 security system for a Gloucester family day centre that had been raided.
The Family Haven, a charity that provides support for vulnerable parents and children, has been made safe and secure by a team of Initial installers from the alarm specialist's Bristol branch. The company offered to help following an emergency appeal by the charity.

Following the incident Claire McGrath, The Family Haven's development manager appealed for help from the community on BBC Radio Gloucestershire. Initial Electronic Security, responded by offering to provide an alarm system, a video entry phone and an emergency panic button.

Ken Ash, Branch Manager said it had been a collaborative project. With suppliers. BC Technologies provided the video intercom, Aritech provided the alarm and they also received support from their partners at BT RedCARE.
