GET has added a wireless lighting system to its home technology range.
The system allows users to control the entire lighting network in a home from one smart remote control unit. Four programmable mood light settings can be easily set and the system can operate lamps and outdoor lighting in addition to ceiling and wall lights. Line of sight is not needed for operation.

CentraLine heating control systems can be used to reduce energy use and costs, while providing a classroom resource to teach energy efficiency.
The CentraLine interface uses a standard web browser. Users can input a schedule of room usage, plus change the conditions of an area to suit immediate needs. Pupils can gain a clear view of the control of their indoor environment.

Catch the bus
Schneider Electric brand Clipsal’s C-Bus lighting controls range now includes wireless systems.
The new system needs no special or extra wiring, simplifying installation. The C-Bus wireless wall switch modules are fitted like standard light switches. They can be programmed to give a range of functions including preset lighting scenes and multiple-way switching.

Simply Automate has relaunced the Harmony-Dupline control system as Domia Pro.
The new system gives complete control over lighting, security and heating and includes a built-in alarm system. A fully flexible modular system, it can be used in new and existing homes.

Custom Installation firm SMC’s subsidiary Digital Plumbers has launched a hub that takes incoming data and digital information and distributes it via a single cable containing two standard Cat 5 and two co-axial cores to each connected room in the house.
Up to six rooms can be connected. The hub is no larger than a standard consumer unit
