EcoCentroGen (ECG), specialists in on-site energy centres which use combined heat and power technology, has announced substantial investment by Mountgrange Capital.
The new financial backing represents a step forward for the company, and a recognition by Mountgrange of the growing importance of the fast-evolving energy market.

ECG finances, designs, constructs, operates and maintains energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable energy centres using combined heat and power. The system also incorporates energy management services as well as billing facilities.

Current projects by ECG include installation of systems for Thames Valley University, and Quarry House in Leeds for the Department of Work and Pensions.

EcoCentroGen can be applied to a number of development types, but mixed use is seen as generating optimal benefits for users and developers. Outgoing utilities are charged for on a long-term energy supply contract.
