Irwell Valley housing Association has branded a Housing Corporation inspection "unrepresentative" after its housing services were rated as only "satisfactory".
Inspectors praised Irwell Valley's Gold Service tenant reward initiative, but said the association needed to improve its focus on delivering repairs and providing tenants with more information on its lettings process.

In an official response, Irwell Valley said it was disappointed, but would incorporate inspectors' suggestions into an action plan.

It said its letting service was excellent, not merely satisfactory.
