From the sky, it could be mistaken for the Starship Enterprise, in fact, this extraordinary vessel is the new £5m, Bluestone-built Norwich Bus Station.

The new hub, which has been provided by Norfolk county council and designed by NPS Property Consultants, is one of the country’s most advanced and eye-catching bus stations, consisting of two high-level canopies linked by a translucent fabric material which allows light to reach the main concourse below. It contains 12 bus bays, each with its own sliding gate which ensures greater passenger safety when boarding and alighting.
